Despite the rain and cold weather, many of you came out to support
the Church, and for that, we are very
grateful.

As soon as we entered the gates of Marian Schneider's estate, we
could hear the soft sounds of Charlie
Wayne's flute drifting across the pond
and returning to touch our hearts ever
so lightly; accompanied by the gentle
rhythmic beating of a hollow drum, we
began our journey of self discovery.
Our hearts were now open, and Sammye Jo
Harvey gently guided us back to a time
when we were innocent children, and
reminded us of our God given power. It
was truly a magical experience.
Barb Pinkerton had a wonderful display of her artwork. Who knew
that Barb had such a talent! Her animal
portraits and gourds are awesome. Ken (Ironhorse)
and Edna added to the Native American
theme with an impressive display of
Native American jewelry and other
items. Please visit their stores which
are located next to the Circle K gas
station on Gainesville Hwy.
To execute an event like this takes a team, and each team member is
important. So many thanks to members of
the parking team, the greeters, the
refreshments team, Shirley Pope for
marketing, Herb Ernst for engineering.
They were real troopers - standing by
their posts in the rain and cold
weather.
Marian Schneider's
estate is breathtaking, and we thank her
for opening her home and sharing such a
beautiful tranquil setting.
It was a great turnout, in spite of the weather, and we raised over
$900.00!
